Happy 1-Year Anniversary!

A year ago today, I took the first step to changing my life, for the rest of my life. I’m exactly 42 pounds lighter today than I was this day last year. Of course losing the weight did not come easy. The first 60 days were brutal, but I stayed committed and kept moving forward. Like most everything in life, it’s about choices. It’s about accountability. And most of all it’s about commitment. Given the milestone, I’ll throw out an extra quote.

Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God and value it next to conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of, a blessing money can’t buy. Izaak Walton (1593 – 1683)

Most Americans are in relatively good health. We’re just lazy! Get out there and do something, just one thing, every day and soon you’ll not only feel better but you’re outlook on life begins to improve as well. Doom and gloom are soon replaced with Inspiration and motivation. If you’re out of work, then I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to take control of the only thing you really have control over… and that’s what you put into your body and what you make your body do. While you’re at it, turn off the news, throw out the paper and don’t login to what ever website you read daily unless it’s positive. In other words, go on a Mind Diet as well.

Like the Nike Ad campaign says… “Just Do It!”

Hey Doug Congrats! That's a huge accomplishment. I'm a big proponent of working out and staying in shape. At 23 I went through my first back surgery, so staying in shape is a necessity for me; but, it's so much more than that. The psychology of running you're own business you need a stress relief. A good workout can do that for you. Additionally, from a confidence perspective, a coach in high used to say; "Look good, feel good, play good." Or in this case run a business good. Thanks for sharing your success. Brock Predovich http://brockpredovich.com http://bizential.com
